The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks (MDWFP) will open the newly renovated campground at Neshoba Lake on Friday, March 7, the Clarion-Ledger of Jackson, Miss., reported.

According to MDWFP, the new facilities have 22 concrete pads with water, sewer and electrical connections. Each site includes a grill and picnic table.

A new bath facility has also been built. Both showers and bathrooms are handicap accessible and were designed for ease of use for those with special needs.

In addition to the developed sites, there is also space available for primitive camping.
