The owners of the Ponil Campground, located on U.S. 64 just outside village limits of Cimarron, N.M., have listed the RV park and campground for sale along with the storage units and two homes on the property, the Sangre de Cristo Chronicle reported.

The property is listed for $915,000 with American West Ranches, Homes, Land of Eagle Nest. Co-owner Kathy Jones said the business was listed within the past week after trying to selling it through word of mouth for the past few years.

Jones said she and her business partner and sister-in-law LaDena Gunter want to retire after owning and operating the park for 11 years.

“It’s getting to be too much for us. We’re not spring chickens anymore,” she said March 14.

The two women’s husbands both died during the past decade.

“We’ve really had a nice time with all the young people being here and the older people that come here for the whole summer. We have a whole big variety of clients. People from France, Germany, England, Italy, all over the world. You get to meet a lot of really interesting people,” Jones said. “I love the town and the people that live here. It’s just a nice place to live.”
