Wells, Nev. RV Park Holds Public Celebration
On March 7, business partners united to celebrate the success of Angel Lake RV Park, which opened its grounds to visitors in Wells, Nev., in June, 2005.
The 48-space RV park is owned and operated by Wells residents Stephen and Mavis Wright with the management assistance of their daughter, Debbie Robinson, the Elko Daily Free Press reported.
Wright was one of the pioneers that subdivided Ruby Valley into “Ruby Lake Estates.” After he sold his ranch in Ruby Valley, he still didn’t want to retire. With his development skills, and the desire to keep working, he moved to Wells and created the RV park as a result of wanting to promote the local community and welcome visitors to the area.
“I just want to let others know that there is help available to grow your business,” Robinson said. “It takes some work, but along the way, you really get to know your business. Recreation, tourism and the mining sector are all supporting our business and that of the local economy. We are glad our park can help support tourists and temporary workers, and we look forward to building on, in the future.”
Wright gave a tour of the grounds and facility March 7, explaining the history and business aspects of the park’s creation.
