As the camping season draws to a close the Clay County Campground near Vermillion, Iowa, goes out with a bang by holding a Halloween festival which has been an annual celebration for several years now, the Vermillion Plain Talk reported. Boat Launch Opens At Campground Site

A new public boat ramp is now open at the site of the under-construction Meadow Creek Campground, located one mile north of Sandstone Visitor Center on Meadow Creek Road outside Glen Jean, W.Va., the Fayette Tribune reported. The town of Cobourg, Ontario, is moving its popular annual “Christmas Magic” lights display to a campground/marina this year to give the previous site’s trees a rest, Northumberland Today columnist Pete Fisher reported.
