Erath County (Texas) commissioners unanimously approved the final plat for Gilbert and Julie Carrillo’s new 15-space RV park at their 4Cs Rodeo Ranch outside Stephenville, the Stephenville Empire-Tribune reported. Florida RV Resort Ready For Expansion Project

Paradise Oaks RV Resort, located in Bushnell, Fla., announced it will hold a ground-breaking ceremony on Thursday (March 2) to mark the beginning of its second expansion phase. Iowa Town Seeks Campground, Marina Grant

Storm Lake, Iowa, will seek a Land and Water Conservation Grant from the federal government to develop the marina area at Casino Beach with a campground and cabins, the Storm Lake Pilot Tribune reported. Food trucks are all the rage now, and they’re becoming a more and more common sight in Walt Disney World. Indiana Casino Breaking Ground On RV Park

Officials from Rising Star Casino Resort in Rising Sun, Ind., will break ground today (Feb. 28) on a new RV park, Inside Indiana Business reported. Financial details of the project were not released, however the development is expected to be complete by Memorial Day weekend. Iowa State Parks Continuing A Growth Curve

More people are using Iowa state parks as their go-to destinations, the Dickinson County News reported. Last year, state parks welcomed more than 15 million visitors, up more than 750,000 over the previous year. RVIA: January Saw Strong RV Wholesale Start

January’s survey of manufacturers conducted by the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) found wholesale shipments of RVs starting off 2017 in strong fashion with a monthly total of 33,859 units.  That represents a 7.4% rise from the January 2016 total of 31,526 units and a 2.7% gain over December’s robust total of 32,970.
