Steamed crabs and more are on the menu for Crab Fest 2017.

Sea Pirate Campground, in West Creek, N.J., presents Crab Fest 2017 at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, with a menu that includes crabs, clams, mussels, tuna, ham and turkey, plus hamburgers, hot dogs and a dish that you prepare.

Families are asked to bring a covered dish to complement the fare – all for a good cause and a good time.

According to the Sand Paper, in light of the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey in Texas, the 2017 Crab Fest will be a charity event with all proceeds donated to the Houston Disaster Relief Fund through the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief nonprofit organization.

“Sandy is not far from our minds and it is our turn to give back,” wrote the Benn family on their website. “We are hoping for an extra large turnout so we can make a large contribution to the relief fund. We are asking all our loyal customers both seasonal and transit to help us bring help to those in need.”

Tickets are $12.67 for ages 10 and older and $8.55 for ages 4 to 9; ages 3 and younger are free.

Tickets can be purchased online at Proof of purchase must be presented to receive a wristband. All patrons must be wearing wristbands to enter the Crab Fest.
