Indiana Creek Campground Hosts Halloween Walk

It’s that time of year, when Indian Creek Campground at Mark Twain Lake in Mark Twain Lake, Mo., is full of family fun and spooky decorations.

According to the Herald-Whig, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Mark Twain Lake Chamber of Commerce announced the return of the annual Halloween walk on Oct. 20 and Oct. 21.

Event times are 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday.

The chamber will be accepting a parking fee of $5 per vehicle each night to help cover expenses. Shuttles will be available Saturday only. Only registered campers who have paid a camping fee and display their correlating white vehicle hang tag issued by the Indian Creek Fee Booth upon campsite registration will be exempt from this charge.

Having exact change upon approaching the event will help expedite wait time and reduce long lines at the entry.
