Ark. Property Owners Assoc. Approves Park Exp.

Renovation of the Hot Springs (Ark.) Village Property Owners’ Association’s (POA) RV park moved a step closer last Thursday (Oct. 4) with approval by the architectural control committee, according to the Arkansas News.

The RV park project now goes to the POA’s board of directors for final project authorization.

The project, planned at $100,000 in this year’s budget, is projected to come in under budget. Work would include adding 10 drive-through sites, building a wastewater collection system for each new and existing campsite and adding or replacing some culverts, lifestyle and outdoor recreation. The existing wastewater collection site would remain.

Completion is slated for January.

The Arkansas Department of Health’s website shows plans have received state approval, said POA’s Lifestyles and Development Director Stephanie Heffer.
