Minn. Village Acquires Campground for $300K

Minnesota’s Bluff Country Campground has a new owner in the form of the Village of Bay City.

The Republican Eagle reported that the village approved the purchase of the campground back in April, after Village President James Turvaville called it “a good business proposition” after a September board meeting.

The village purchased the property from previous owner and Bay City resident Donald Peavey for $300,000, the appraised value of the property according to Turvaville.
