About
The Woodall Publishing Co., dating back to 1935, added Campground Management to its growing list of publications serving the campground business in 1976. In 1995, suburban Chicago-based Woodall’s was sold to Southern California’s Affinity Group Inc., now known as Good Sam Enterprises LLC, best known in this sector for its TL Enterprises Inc. publications, including Trailer Life, MotorHome, Highways and Coast magazines.
In addition to those titles, the company today publishes the Woodall’s North American Campground Directory and several regional editions of that venerable annual publication and distributes Woodall’s Campground Management (WCM) free to all Woodall’s directory listees, plus thousands of paid subscribers. Billing itself as “The Voice of the North American Campground Business,” WCM today circulates to 14,000 RV parks and campgrounds, a majority of them privately owned.
Based in Ventura, Calif., the company also publishes the Trailer Life Campgrounds, RV Parks & Services Directory.
