Sun Communities Reports 34.2% Revenue Boost

Sun Communities Inc., based in Southfield, Mich., reported a 34.2% rise in revenue for the first quarter of 2017 compared to the same quarter last year. The real-estate investment trust, which owns RV and manufactured housing parks across the U.S. and ONtario, with a total of 118,550 sites. During the quarter, Sun acquired an RV park in Plymouth, Calif., paying $13 million for the 328-site park. The Northeast Campground Association’s (NCA’s) 53rd Northeast Conference on Camping and Trade Show wrapped up Saturday evening (March 18) in Nashua, N.H., after three days of solid turnout by campground operators from Maine to Maryland and all points in between.
