Imler Concluding Impressive Service to the RV Park Business

John Imler Veteran RV park and campground owner/consultant John Imler is finally stepping away after nearly 40 years in the business. He reported today (May 14)), “As of June 1, 2012, I will discontinue my web page www.imlerconsulting.com. New Owners Rename N.J. Park The Great Divide Campground

Some of the wooded tent sites at the newly named The Great Divide Campground near Newton, N.J. Carmine and Lisa Torella have purchased the Green Valley Beach Family Campground near Newton in northwest New Jersey and renamed it The Great Divide Campground. They took possession on May 3 and hope to open the 265-site park on May 18. It is their first campground they have owned. South Dakota Parks Face Spacing Issues

How much space should park owners leave between their individual campsites to guarantee maximum safety for their guests in case of fire? The national model code for the campground industry states 10 feet. But in South Dakota, the state health department says that 10 feet has to be present even when units with slideouts are in the fully expanded position. Arizona ARVC's new logo The Arizona Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (Arizona ARVC) had a good story to tell its membership at the Annual Conference and Trade Show April 25-26 at the Rincon Country West RV Resort in Tucson. New Owner Ready to Reopen Triple Creek Campground

Some of the rental units that await guests at the Triple Creek Campground, which is reopening this week. Arvis Keys attended an auction last May “just to be nosey” and was so impressed by the campground that was up for sale that he bought it. Carefree making pitch to investment bankers this week in New York City. National RV Communities LLC (NRVC) is seeking to finance an aggressive acquisition plan by tapping the private equity market for up to $400 million in new capital.
