Calif. Has Host of Employment Laws Take Effect (1/10/2019)

With 2019 comes a host of new California employment laws that took effect on January 1, according to a release from the California Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds.
Many of the new laws stemmed from the #MeToo movement and strengthen harassment protections, while others clear up ambiguities in laws that were passed last year, such as the ban on asking about an applicant's salary history.
Still a few make small changes may only affect employers in specific industries.
