Jellystone Named Top 200 Franchise For 14th Year (1/19/2019)

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts was recently named one of the Top 200 franchises in the United States by Franchise Business Review. The 2019 ranking is the organization’s 14th annual ranking of the nation’s top franchise opportunities, according to a press release.

Jellystone Park was one of more than 300 franchise brands, representing over 30,000 franchise owners, that participated in Franchise Business Review’s research. Jellystone Park franchisees were surveyed about their experiences and their satisfaction regarding critical areas of the Jellystone Park system, including training and support, operations, franchisor/franchisee relations and financial opportunity.

The Jellystone Park system, which includes more than 80 parks in North America, is owned by Milford, Ohio-based Leisure Systems Inc.

“There are thousands of franchise opportunities available to prospective business owners. It’s important to do your homework,” says Eric Stites, CEO of Franchise Business Review. “Our independent research of franchisee satisfaction helps entrepreneurs discover the top franchise opportunities in every category. This year’s Franchisee Satisfaction Award winners truly are the best-of-the-best.”

In the survey, Jellystone Park franchisee responses significantly over-indexed the average in terms of how they rate the current financial picture of their business, how they rate the long-term growth opportunity provided by their franchise and their willingness to make the same decision to invest in the franchise and “do it again.”

“We’re honored to once again be recognized by Franchise Business Review,” says Jim Westover, vice president of Product Development and Sales. “We owe our continued success to the great work of our amazing franchisees and we’re proud that this independent research again demonstrates that our franchisees value the support, partnership, and financial success provided by the Jellystone Park system.”
